At 27 years old Kobe Bryant set a record as the fastest player to reach 15,00 points, about two weeks ago LeBron James broke that record by two years against the Chicago Bulls. People want to see greatness and this is the thick of the action; it gets no better than watching the phenom at his best and basically diminishing the records of those who were previously in his place. James reached the record at 25 years 79 days, and he did it in his 540th game but Kobe on the other hand achieved it at 27 years 136 days and playing his 657th game. I think its clear cut who is set to have a better career statistically and at the rate LeBron is going nothing is “impossible”. King James is destined for greatness but will he get any rings is the question we all want answers to.

Everyday I read the Daily News and all I read about is LeBron, LeBron, LeBron. Listen he is an astronomical player; out of this world, but the him coming to the Garden is also out of this world. I want Dwyane Wade but i honestly don’t see him or LeBron leaving their respected teams. I think The Knicks are better off Signing Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson to max deals and doing a Sign & Trade for Rudy Gay. This Would give us a half decent team with Sergio Rodriguez at the 1 guard, Joe Johnson at the 2, Rudy Gay playing small, Chris Bosh at the power, and I heard we want Marcus Camby back so we keep him at Center. I believe with this line up we can actually contend next year to get into the playoffs. Donnie Walsh needs to stop dreaming about these BIG names leaving and really worry about the possible outcomes. Maybe I’m asking for a little bit too much but then again we haven’t won a chip since 1973 and 2000-2010 is dubbed “The lost Decade” so am I REALLY asking for much as a fan? All I want is to have our winning ways back; put us on top where we belong, how can Cleveland be better than us with their micro market (compared to ours) still yet year in and year out they smack us around all season. I’m just disappointed and I’m sick of it!

So Kid Cudi has been in the rap game for a while now, hopefully you all know he is signed to Kanye’s label Good Music; now what I want to know is how you guys feel about his talent. I mean he has dropped an album but it didn’t make much noise…is because he isn’t attracting to the public? or simply didn’t get enough promo. Now-a-days rappers who don’t get promoted really can’t go mainstream and it’s getting out of hand since there are so many talented artists who don’t get the support they need from their labels so they end up back at square one most of the time.

Today Jae Millz released his new mixtape named “The Flood”. So far its a deep mixtape and he’s got a couple tough tracks on it; one specifically is “Just Begun” in the song he raps about his premature baby that died last year. I’m not too sure how many people remember Jae Millz from smack DVD or when he signed to Def Jam but this time around it sounds like he is serious, I think Millz is here to stay because he’s had points where we the fans think he is finally going to put his stamp on this rap game and then he just disappears. I’m going to wait around for his album and then I’ll a judgment call on his career.

As Lil’ Wayne steps into prison, another is let free. T.I. is expecting a come back within the next month and a half or so; today he released his new single “I’m Back”. In this track T.I. is back with a chip on his shoulder, You can hear he’s been reborn and ready for war. He spoke on his upcoming album and set his release date but didn’t share the name of the album, I guess they’re keeping that under covers for now but I’m waiting on something big from T.I. because there’s been so much going on since he stepped into prison; he must have a lot on his mind to share with us.

Look at these grand men. Which of you wouldn’t consider it the highlight of his career just to associate with them for even one day? Sure, I’m lucky. Who wouldn’t consider it an honor to have known Jacob Ruppert? Also, the builder of baseball’s greatest empire, Ed Barrow? To have spent six years with that wonderful little fellow, Miller Huggins? Then to have spent the next nine years with that outstanding leader, that smart student of psychology, the best manager in baseball today, Joe McCarthy? Sure, I’m lucky.

When the New York Giants, a team you would give your right arm to beat, and vice versa, sends you a gift — that’s something. When everybody down to the groundskeepers and those boys in white coats remember you with trophies — that’s something. When you have a wonderful mother-in-law who takes sides with you in squabbles with her own daughter — that’s something.
